There were exactly 3 curated exhibits when I visited: 1) a meager dozen prints from a local private collection 2) several rooms replete with hundreds of sketches and finished works of one artist depicting images from all 41 NC state parks 3) a very large 20'X40' room with ONE bust, a bronze cast of Abraham Lincoln's face, some ancillary magazine covers, a tedious film loop and 2 benches. At least half of the building is taken up with gift shop, cafe, restrooms, offices and classroom. There were works of perhaps twenty artists total on display, many just a single piece.
